Technical documentation - relevant information
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION – RELEVANT INFORMATION
- IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION – for ALL operations
- Documentation in PL, EN languages - in accordance with the rules of technical drawing.
- Optionally editable files, preferred file format – .dwg, * .dxf, * .STEP
- File names according to your own system, unique names, maximum number of characters – 21
- Provide all relevant information on the material (type, thickness, quantity, surface finish, etc.)
- Specify the standard and requirements for the process in the case of coatings (e.g. painting, nickel plating, galvanizing)
- Standards and tolerances adequate to the processes:
– laser cutting: PN-EN ISO 9013;
– mechanically and plastically processed parts: PN-EN ISO 2768;
– welded parts: PN-EN ISO 13920. - Do not provide drawings of several parts in one file.
- Each change in a drawing should be associated with a change in the revision in the file name and in the drawing table (a new revision is a new drawing).
- It should be remembered that sharp corners of laser-cut elements can be rounded off, the rounding radius is ~ 10% * material thickness.
- IMPORTANT GENERAL INFORMATION – for ALL operations
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LASER CUTTING.
- The cutting plan should be in * .dxf format, without dimensions and other annotations. Only outer and inner contours.
- The detail drawing should be on a scale of 1: 1,
- The drawing should be without blocks, splines, overlapping lines and no open contours.
- One * .dxf file should contain only one cutting plan.
- Mark the engraver with a yellow line.
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LASER CUTTING.
- RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BENDING.
- The detail drawing should be in * .dwg format.
- It should contain dimensioned projections of the detail after bending and a flat plate pattern with bending lines.
- The minimum bending distance depends on the thickness of the material and for its correct selection, use the study from https://plasmet.net/technologia/.
- Holes too close to the bend line may become distorted.
- As a rule of thumb, the bend radius should be the material thickness.
- RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BENDING.
- RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MECHANICAL MACHINING.
- Provide the model in * .step format or a dimensioned drawing in * .dwg format with surface roughness marking.
- RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MECHANICAL MACHINING.
- RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WELDING
- The delivered drawing should include the types of welds and their dimensions.
- For structures consisting of several elements, a multi-level structure (BOM – Bill Of Materials) should be maintained.
